doll of the day.

doll of the day-
the first! tonight...today... [it's 2 am here], the model is-

midnight.moon! [who just happens to be my actual sister.]

bing! this is a simple style with a layered jacket and cardigan, and white skinnies. the blue shirt is a pop of color that draws eyes and complements the whole look. it's a city-worthy look that turns heads and doesn't blend in.

to try out for doll of the day, just send hum_hallelujah3 a message on stardoll and i'll check it out.

writers? anyone?

dear dollies,

if you have a good sense of fashion, let me know if you want to write or model for me. let's make this famous.
and if you have extremely good fashion-
interviews, prizes, and daily features will be available to you! i'm especially looking for people who have wild fashion that still is very cute or that stands out.
you can leave me a message here or back on old stardoll.

thanks,
lucille.

pricing? REALLY?

dear dollies,

back in 06, when i first started spending real money on virtual clothes i couldn't even wear, each outfit cost me about twelve stardollars total.

what happened, stardoll?

now, dresses are getting up to 16 bucks each, and that's not including the 200 dollar limited edition dresses that aren't even that cute. people just buy them for bragging rights and because they're 'IN.'

yeah, waste of money. LOWER THE PRICES, STARDOLL, OR IM LEAVING!

...not really. you're too addicting. but i think fashion isn't about price, or how expensive something is. it's what's appealing to the eye- art in fabric form.

love,
lucille.

here's the deal, dollies.

dear dollies,

lately, while getting my virtual shopping fix on stardoll, i've noticed something.
amidst the masses of look-alike dolls with no sense of fashion or creativity, there are some jewels that stand out and produce fabulous outfits that are different, but still amazing.
these girls aren't afraid to look different and rule the virtual underground culture of stardoll. and the thing is, these days almost every medoll looks the same and buys the same hotbuys and wears the same 'in style' clothing. i think it's time some of these creative girls of stardoll get a chance to show that hotbuys aren't important. limited edition isn't important. it's how you wear the clothes and mix styles that really matters.

seeing as this is the first post, i'm assuming no one's really reading.
but i am looking for people to be writers as well. their job- to find the most creative girls and boys on stardoll and bring the underground culture to life.

you up for a challenge, stardoll? stop following trends. set them.
go underground.

love,
lucille/ humhallelujah
